Lake District HotelI`ve stayed in a number or large chain hotels over the years and whilst they offer everything you could want in way of creature comforts, they tend to lack a sense of charm. I`d much rather find a cosy guest house when I stay in various parts of the UK. They can provide comfort, charm and unrivaled levels of hospitality from the moment that you arrive. One of my favourite places to visit in Great Britain is the Lake District and on my last trip to this beautiful party of the country I was lucky enough to stay in a beautiful guest house that was located in Keswick. I could have booked into a
Lake District Hotel but the guest house was a far better proposition. It had been refurbished to an exceptional standard over the last two years and the room I stayed in was en executive double. Tasteful décor, fine furnishings and a warm welcome by the hosts was just some of the benefits of staying in this high quality accommodation as opposed to a
Lake District Hotel. The breakfast was scrummy, made from fresh local produce and the view from the bedroom was magnificent. I`ll never stay in a
Lake District Hotel again, not when terrific bed and breakfast accommodation can be found instead.
